I am Jedi, and oh yes, the force is strong with me. My gosh darn cute face was adopted as a little puppy from CHS and I was in a home for over 2 years. Unfortunately, I grew nervous of the youngest human, and the family decided to return me to find a home I was completely comfortable in. Because of of my unsureness with young kids, I am seeking a home with mature kids (12+), and a family with dog experience who will understand my communication. Now that's out of the way, all the fun things about me ~I am so comical, an utter goofy ball, my eyebrows are expressive and I use them to communicate perfectly. Cuddling and snuggling are both things I cannot get enough of. I might be 75 pounds, but I am a tiny little cuddle bug. Beyond loyal, and desperately in search of my family to be loyal to. I have potential with other dogs, but would like to meet them first to make sure we are a good match!Even though I love my friends at CHS, being in the shelter environment is way to stressful for me. For now I am in a foster home, but if you want to meet me my foster mom will gladly bring me back in for a meet and greet. I just need a little notice, and preferably an application that has been processed. If you have any questions give us a call. * A note from Jedi's foster home. When Jedi came back to the shelter in November he was scared, anxious and frustrated. After living in a home with people that he loved and trusted for 2 years he was shocked to be back at a place that he hadn't seen since he was a puppy. The shelter was a tremendously stressful environment for him. For his health and safety I brought him home with me. It was very clear that it was going to take some time for Jedi to heal. I watched him go from a scared and confused boy that would never relax, to a content and loving dog. From sleeping in our bed to basking in the sunshine, Jedi is slowly learning to trust again. There are a lot of things in the world that are still scary, but he is learning to face his fears and become more confident. It has been amazing to watch him grow closer to being the dog that he was meant to be. He is still looking for his forever home, but while he waits it is time to find another family that can help him continue his journey. This super sweet, smart and funny young man needs to know and experience the world is full of kind and patient people. Finding a foster home that can love and care for him while searching for his perfect people is imperative to his well being. Thank you.*Jedi is also eligible to be fostered.
